The association Pierres et Marbres de Wallonie brings together 32 active quarries dedicated to the extraction and processing of ornamental and building stones from the Walloon subsoil. True witnesses to the geological heritage and artisanal expertise of the region, these quarries highlight a local, sustainable, and high-quality natural resource.

Sandstone, schist, arkose, quartzite, and various limestones — Wallonia offers an exceptional range of materials, showcasing a wide variety of colours, textures, and properties. These natural stones stand out for their authenticity, durability, and elegance, adapting perfectly to all architectural styles — from contemporary designs to heritage restorations and landscape projects.

Choosing natural stone means supporting an environmentally responsible industry. It also means helping to preserve and promote ancestral craftsmanship, carried forward and renewed by passionate artisans and dedicated companies.

Pierres et Marbres de Wallonie supports professionals, architects, public authorities, and private individuals in their projects, fostering exchange, training, and the promotion of regional natural stone.
